Rummet är tomt på mänsklig närvaro, istället tronar en bred och låg stol med högglansig yta framför en ljus gardin som fyller bilden från sida till sida. Bilden behandlar konventioner som finns i vår syn på representationen av manligt och kvinnligt och en ambivalens i kombinationen av dessa koder. Andersson´s "Interiör" is showing a clothed room, an environment between homelike and public. The room is empty of human presence instead a wide and low chair with a highly lustrous surface is enthroning in front of a light curtain that fills the image from side to side. The image is depicting conventions that exist in our view of representation of male and female and the ambivalence in the combination of these codes.
