Sunesons bild "Utan titel (5)" ingår i ett projekt där konstnären undersöker hur kvinnor avbildades i det modernistiska måleriet. Ett måleri som byggde på färg och formstudier där motivet skildrades utifrån ett abstrakt formellt tänkande. I bilder där t ex motivvalet var en enkel rumsinteriör kunde en kvinna ingå, målad så att hon korresponderade med de omgivande färgerna och formerna. Det var snarare en representation av kvinnan än porträttet av en person som visades. Exempel på sådana bilder finns hos konstnärer som Henri Matisse och Pierre Bonnard. Motivvalen är så välkända att betraktaren inte längre tänker på vad de föreställer. Genom att dessa motiv iscensätts i fotografier synliggör Suneson det som är dolt i ursprungsbilderna.

The image of Suneson, "Utan titel (5)" is part of a project where the artist is investigating how women have been depicted in modernistic painting. A way of painting that was built on color and form studies where the motif was depicted from an abstract formal thinking. In images where the motif for example was a simple interior of a room a woman could be part of it, painted in correspondence with the surrounded colors and forms. It was rather a representation of a woman than a portrait of a person that was shown. Examples of such images can be found in the works of artists like Henri Matisse and Pierre Bonnard. The choice of the motif is so well known that the viewer is not any longer thinking of what it visualizes. Through the arranging of these motifs in photography the artist makes visible what is concealed in the original images.
